The Local Counselling Card (TLCC) initiative helps removes barriers for people looking to access counselling. 
Our goal is to reduce the amount of time it takes for individuals to access mental health services and a find a counsellor who aligns with them.
By registering for TLCC you can be an active part of ending the stigma around accessing mental health services.  Help us ensure individuals from all walks of life have access to not only affordable counselling, but a choice in their care.

To Join The Local Counselling Card…

  • You must meet minimum requirements to become part of TLCC (eg. have valid liability insurance).
  • You must be passionate about increasing accessibility to mental health services.
  • The Local Counselling Card is a virtual card that is redeemed via our website
  • You can accept The Local Counselling Card over the phone, email, in person or at the end of a video session
  • There are two levels of participation – low-fee counselling and regular rate counselling
  • If you are listed as a low-fee counsellor you can still accept TLCC for full rate counselling if requested by the individual
  • Low-fee counselling according to TLCC means $60 or less per session
